PROJECTS

REDEVELOPMENT OF THE EXISTING SKATEPARK

The current skatepark is over 15 years old and reaching the end of its life. There have been some recent examples of excellent skatepark developments in Nailsea and in Bristol. The skatepark in Clevedon is in need of such a redevelopment. We are currently trying to raise funds through events and grant funding.

BUILDING A NEW PUMP TRACK

The council have agreed for us to use the space between the existing skatepark and the tennis courts / basketball / football pitches for us to design and build a brand new pump track for Clevedon. We are very excited about this opportunity (although it means we have to raise more money). We feel that the addition of a new pump track in Clevedon will be a really great addition for the community.

SKATEBOARD TRAINING

We have run several skateboard training sessions at Clevedon skatepark to help those interested in getting into skateboarding understand the basics and develop their skateboarding skills, as well as some flatland BMX coaching sessions with Fusions Extreme. If you would like to be the first to know about future sessions then please join the email list via the homepage.

BUILDING A COMMUNITY HUB

In August 2021 North Somerset Council granted CSP £35,000 to build a community hub next to the skatepark and proposed pump track. This will be used for outreach and training activities at the site, and will be available for youth and community groups to use alongside us.
